Hello Everyone,

It´s Friday again and I am bringing you a new review. Today I am going to be talking about Passenger by Alexandra Braken, a book that I´ve love from the first ´til the last page and which of course had a 5 out of 5 stars.

First of all, I have to say that before Passenger I hadn´t read anything by Alexandra Braken and it´s been a discovery. I am really looking forward to start reading The Darkest Minds series as soon as I purchased it and as soon as I finish a couple of the other series that I am currently reading.

But going back to Passenger, I have to say that is amazing. The book start so strong and I was afraid that due that it would be a huge disappointment but, no! The rhythm of the book is just perfect. It goes fast when it needed to be and it goes slow when necessary and that makes the story so unique. Besides I just have to say two words: time-travel and pirates (even though they are legal pirates).

The story is narrated in third person but from the point of view of two characters. I really like this, you get to know pretty much everything about the main character but you still intrigue about what´s going to happen because you do not have much intel about what the antagonist thinks. And the other thing that I truly enjoyed was the fact that Nicholas represents a huge diversity as a character.

I love how the history takes place in the story as a conductor of the narration. I mean I think that there is not a single thing that I dislike about this book. Except from Rose, but I won´t tell you why just yet because I do not want to spoil anything. So If you haven´t read the book yet go read the book and then come back so we can discuss it.

So as I was saying the only thing that I dislike is Rose, Etta´s mother; but is not a thing about the writing or anything like that. Is just that I can´t understand her. She is, or at least seems to be quite selfish. Is not what I would expect of a mother. Maybe is the fact that the reasonable thing and what I am used to read is a mother that put her kids above everything else. It seems that she is putting first the greater good but I am not so sure about it.

As I said before, I really like Nicholas. I think is so refreshing to see a main character like him, because, at least I have never read a black main character. And in this context is even better, because he is used to be treated in certain way and he is so surprised when he finds out that Etta is not like the rest. And I do not think that is just because she has grown in other century I am pretty sure that it would be the same if she was raised sometimelse. Through Nicholas I think that Alexandra Braken shows us that all of us are people no matter what. And I really like that aspect.

Etta is the other main character and is cool to see how shocked she is when she found herself in the Eighteen Century. I think her reaction is pretty much the one that everyone would have if seemed itself thrown into the situation. And after the initial shock she tries to adjust. She is now in a society in which being a woman is not the best. I like how strong she is and how she is willing to forget Nicholas after he lied to her, because let´s be honest, her lie was one pretty obvious.

Talking a bit about the rest of the known travelers I would like to say that I enjoyed reading Sophie´s parts because she is how she is because all that she has gone through in live and she is so ambitious. I like when an author is able to portrait the good and the bad in all the characters and not make the good ones perfects and the bad ones just the incarnation of Satan. In this novel I can see this in very clear way for all the characters, but especially for Sophie, as I was just Saying and Nicholas because he has a lot of flaws, and those flaws along with all his strengths are what make him such a lovable character.

I also would like to call your attention and say that time-traveling is such a paradox. I mean there is the fact of changing the past to change the future and all of that. But I really find Alexandra Braken´s explanation the best of which I’ve read. All travelers can change the past, and that will affect the future they know so in doing it they will lose what they had but not their memories of having it and of course It won´t affected they being birth cause in that way they wouldn´t be able to make the change. In the author´s words sound much better but I think everybody gets my point.

I hugely recommend everyone to read this book. Cause is truly amazing and I have enjoyed it very much. I love the writing style, the story and of course the characters.

Wrap up March 2016

Before I started to talk about my wrap up I will like to say that I will still posting on Fridays and I will try to posted as well on Wednesdays if college is not keeping me to busy, cause my few vacation days are over now. And as I previously say I will try to post other days besides those two if I do have time. But with no further do let´s go with the wrap up.

This month I´ve read I huge amount of books; actually I would say that is the most I’ve read in my entire life in just one month.  This March I´ve read 21 books and I´ve read all the books I meant to. So I am going to start talking about these books now because otherwise this is going to be such a long post.

The Strain was the first book I completed during this month and I was entertain at reading it but it wasn´t my favorite book. As I said on its review it’s a book that doesn´t tell anything. You can see my full review on this book by clicking on the title. I gave this book 3 out of 5 stars because it had something that keep me reading and that´s something.

Welcome to Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Claire and Sarah Rees Brennan

I really enjoy this book. It was so short and I will bring a full review of this one as soon as I´ve read the other books in the Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy series. I gave Welcome to Shadowhunter Academy 4 out of 5 stars cause is the first book, it was to short and is just a blink into the Academy.

Una chica de asfalto by Carla Crespo

As I might have said some time, I am from Spain and I read some books by Spanish authors. This one I picked up while I was bored at home with the flu. And I have to say that it was a completely wasted of my time. I did not enjoy the story to be honest. Is just another romantic novel full with clichés. I gave this book 2 out of 5 stars.

I really enjoyed this book even when it took me a while to go thought it. It is a beautiful story with a beautiful writing style and amazing characters. I end up giving it 4 out of 5 stars because I consider the end to be so rush. If you are interested you can read my full review by clicking on the title of the book.

Eeny Meeny by M.J.Ardidge

I am so sorry to say this but this is actually the worst book I´ve ever read. Is awful, I wasn´t able to empathized with the main character. I liked better the killer than Grace and that´s an awful thing to say. This book belong within a series that I won´t be finishing. I gave this book 1 out of 5 stars because of the trees that have been killed to print this book.

I read all 10 books in The Bane Chronicles in two days, considering that in those days I had test and papers to deliver and a lot of tasks for University. I ended up giving all The Bane Chronicles 3.5 out of 5 stars because even when there was a few tales that I enjoyed a lot I finished the book not knowing anymore about Magnus which was the reason why I started to read these books in the very first place.  I think because I see who writes each of the tales that actually the ones that I gave 5 out of 5 stars are the ones that are writing only by Cassandra Clare. Nobody can know better a character that its own creator. If you want to read my full review click on the title.

This one if a re-read that remained me how much I loved Cassandra Clare as a writer. I gave this book once again 5 out of 5 stars. If you want you can read my full review on the book by clicking on the title.

Central Park by Guillaume Musso

I absolutely love this book. My mum gave it to me because she is so nice. I´ve been chasing it from the very first time I saw it.

It is a thriller that won´t allow you to figurate what is going to happened net. I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars. And as soon as I can I will write a full review for it and liked here as usual on the title.

La chica de Pablo by Naiara Dominguez

I did not like this book; in fact I gave 2 out of 5 stars as you can see on my Goodreads profile (which you can see by clicking on Goodreads). This books is written by a Spanish author and I really do not want to say this cause is going to look as if in Spain we don´t have good writers when in fact we do have. But it was awful: the writing, the story, and the characters.

For those who have read After by Anna Tood it was so much like it. Except for the fact that the main character is a famous singer and he fall for a fan after only see her one time for like 5 minutes.

I wrote a full review for this book so you can go and see it by clicking on the title. A fast recap will be that I fell in love with this book again. I was reading and right after a drama, or even in the middle of one, I could be laughing so hard because one of the comments a character made. I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars all over again.

At this point of the month I was amuse about how much I have read already. I started to read clockwork Princess that is a big book, to be honest, believing I would not fished in time to put it this wrap up. And I re-read the final book in The Infernal Devices Series in two days and just because the morning after the first day I have wake up early because I was meeting with a friend. You can read my full review on the book by clicking on the title.

This is the last book I read on March and I have to say that I love it so much. I jumped into it with very high expectations because all the reviews that I heard about Passenger were good. But actually is better than good is terrific.

I gave it 5 out of 5 stars, and you can read my review tomorrow I will liked it here and you will be able to access it by clicking on the title.

And that´s it for the month of March, which I think it’s the month in which I´ve read the most in my entire life (and here I was thinking I could no possible read more than in January).

What have read during March? Do you have any recommendations? Leave a comment down below and subscribe to get notice when a new post comes out.

See you all soon.

Clockwork Princess

Every single time I end a Cassandra Clare book series I go through the same emotion. What could I possibly read to go over it? As I wrote this post, the tears stays with my just because all that I´ve just read in Clockwork Princess.

I am speechless, and that is not something I say often. This book deserves an entire constellation of stars as mark. It is not just a book with a beautiful writing style and an amazing story full of characters well developed, and the fair amount of action and romance. Is a book that also shows the progression as a writer that Cassandra Claire has gone through. So as I was saying I would give this book an entire constellation of stars as punctuation if I could. Sadly Goodreads only allows us to give 5 stars and that´s what I ended up giving all over again to this book.

I think is pretty obvious that I love this book and in the past reviews have been settled that I also love Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince (you can see both reviews by clicking in the titles of both books). I would really recommend everybody to read The Infernal Devices trilogy and if by any chance you´ve already read it, I would encourage you to re-read them cause this books are just so amazing.

I cannot really say that much without fear of spoil anything to anyone so if you haven´t read the book and you do not want to be spoil I highly recommend you to stop reading as this sentence comes to an end.

As I was just saying earlier this book is AMAZING. I really can see now (better that I did when I first read it) that all the characters are so well developed and even when I tend to be upset with happily ever after I´ve truly enjoyed this one. Both Jem and Will get to be with Tessa even when they don´t get a chance to be parabatai anymore. Is so hard breaking that I am in tears again just when I´ve managed to stop crying. But as Woolsey said in the book Tessa is so lucky because she has found not one but two true loves.

Will in this book show us all he have been hidden for the other two, even when all of us love him and know that he was honorable and so sweet. He proves that he care about those who he loves more than he cares about himself. That he is willing to spend his entire life in pain just to see the two people he loves the most being happy. And he still had that amazing personality in which he says the most inappropriate thing for the moment but you can help but love him. I am so happy that he speaks the truth and tells Jem that he has feeling for Tessa, even when the circumstances are nor the best nor made by Will himself. But I love that bond that he shares with Jem.

Jem is just the most amazing human being. He is so kind and loyal and lovable. I know I´ve said this before but I just can´t help but love his friendship with Will, he is there all the time and cares so much about him. He trusted him even when nobody did. Jem has always see the best in Will even when he didn´t. I think that that´s the best quality of him. And I truly admire his ability to sacrifice in order to give Will what he wanted.

This is very rare, but actually I like the main feminine character. She is strong and independent, and she really is, you can see that through her actions. Is not like other female characters that are described as strong and independent women but then are just the opposite. That said I also her desire to sacrifice all that she had (herself) to protect those who she loves. I really enjoyed how much she has grown through the course of the books. I would say that she goes through a serious character development. And as it happens to me whenever I read about Magnus it breaks my heart thinking that because she is immortal she has to say goodbye to every single person that she loves.

The Lightworm brothers as Will will called them are shown in this book much more than in the other two mainly cause now they both live in the Institute. I like how they show that there is no need to stay in the mistakes of the past. You can be your own entity regardless you family line. I like Gideon and his proposal to Sophie, is just so sweet. But the Lightwood that I enjoy the most in this book it has been Gabriel for sure. He is the one that has the biggest challenge; Gideon’s loyalty to the Institute was already proven in Clockwork Prince, instead Gabriel was an asshole.

Cecily, Will´s little sister might be the one to blame for the extensive development that Gabriel goes through. She is so funny and even when she is so much like her big brother she is her own character. AS Tessa says almost at the end of the book is so funny to see how she manages him and always end up wining whatever argument they have.

Charlotte and Henry are so in love in this book and is so nice until the end when Henry ends in a wheelchair and Charlotte held herself responsible for it. I´ve really like how Henry is much more attentive with his wife now that he knows that she loves him. And I still love how unware about what happens with the rest of the world.

Since I am talking about Henry I cannot omit a comment about the part of the book that I consider to be the funnier. Gideon says that as Charlotte will he will support Sophie for the Ascension that his father friends will support whatever he says cause how will they married otherwise. Everybody is shock and has perfectly understood what Gideon means except for Henry of course. Henry thinks Gideon wants to marry with one of his father friends!

Charlotte is tested in this book. She goes through a lot while she is pregnant. She still has to run the institute but the Consul is not ok with her having so much power so he is trying to discredit her by all means possible. At the end it´s obvious that she had been right all along.

I really don´t know what else to say except that this book is INCREADIBLE and that I cannot believe that I´ve forgot that for such a long time. This story deserves to by among my favorites ones and you can see it place it there by clicking here. I mean I was trapped by the story for the very first page of it. That´s a very common aspect of all Cassandra Clare books, it´s part of her style. However as we can see that in this series we can also see how her stile is improving by the pages: every single page is better than the previous one. Clockwork Princess jumps right into the action and the rhythm of the narration is just perfect. And that ending is just… I do not have word to describe it because is beyond perfect.

Have you guys read The Infernal Devices series? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Leave your comets down below.

See you all soon.

Clockwork Prince

So as I said I´ve been doing a re-read of all the Cassandra Clare books in order to review them and being able to do full reviews. And once again I have to say that I am fully ashamed of myself for forgetting how much I loved these books for such a long time. I forgot how all the characters fits into the story so perfectly and how I can laugh in the middle of a dramatic moment cause Will, Tessa or even Henry made a comment that made my day.

Reading Clockwork Prince took me a little more than expected cause I´ve been devoted to the multi-reading thing, which I am going to leave now for a while, and my mom just bought me a book I´ve been meaning to read for such a long time and I have to stop all my other readings to read that one.

However, that I stopped for a couple of days didn´t mean that I wasn´t enjoying or loving this book. In fact I completely fell for it all over again. I was captivated for the story from the very first page of it. I love how Will goes into the cemetery and if you haven´t read the story you won´t fully understand the motives but once you´ve read it and know why he is how he is you can´t help but love him even more.

So once again I have to say that Cassandra Clare is such an incredible and talented writer. She manages to create an amazing story with characters that you can´t help but love. I love Charlotte and how strong she is. I love Henry and all of his inventions. Of course I love Magnus and Tessa. And I love Sophie. I love all of them. But the characters that I enjoyed the most are both Will and Jem.

Will and Jem represent a true friendship I which both care so deeply about and other. They are both meant so much to each other. The parabatai bond is so well portrayed between this two. We have a chance to see the parabatai thing with Jace and Alec in The Mortal instruments but are nothing like this two. I think the parabatai bond is much more important for the sake of this story to understand how much Will cares about Jem and vice versa.

From this point you will find some spoilers so if you go ahead is under your own responsibility.
So in this book we can see that Tessa is much more confrontable around the Shadowhunters. For me it fels like she wasn´t an outsider anymore. She is now part of the Institute family. And is so nice to see how she cares for them so much and how much all of them care for her.

One of the best things of these books is that it goes right into the action. The starting on the cemetery as I´ve previously mentioned and then, we see Magnus trying to help Will to undo his curse. That curse that he won´t tell anyone about, not even Jem. I consider that is such an intelligent way to portrait character that is three-dimensional.

Will is such a rich character. He seems to be so dark, and in the previous book we couldn’t know why he hides under all that sarcasm, especially when we know that sometimes he can be the sweetest boy ever. Will is acting in that despicable way for the most honorable of the reasons to protect those who he loves. He is going through so much pain all alone in fear. And it must be awful think that not a single person cares about you.

On the other side of Will we have Jem, who once again portraits the reason and the kindness that Will seams not to have. I also love Jem and especially I enjoy so much that we get to see much more of the character in this book. It´s not like he went to an extensive character development, he doesn´t need that. But we get to know him and I really love how Tessa can make him so happy even when that is making Will unhappy.

Tessa is the character that, in my opinion grows the most during this book. She is no longer the scared little girl we first meet when she arrived to the Institute. She has grown and she is much more independent. She is brave, not that she wasn´t earlier, but I think now is better portrayed. I consider that this development has a lot to see with the fact that she now knows that nothing should be taken for granted. And let´s be honest, I am positive that Jem has so much to do with it as well.

As the story goes on, we get to see that Charlotte is sad because all that she had on her plate, but also because of her marriage situation. Thinking that Henry didn´t love her. I love that scene at the end of the book in which they talked about their married and they both said how they felt. It´s so nice and cute. And of course I am really glad that they are having a baby. Even when the little shadowhunter might end up being named Buford.

I´ve said before but I do love Sophie. I like how she and Tessa had become friends and how the care and helped each other. I mean I remember that this was one of the things that surprised me the most when I first read the book. I really like how strong Sophie is, especially after all she has go trhough and I am so happy of this relationship that she might or might not be starting with Gideon Lightwood. Sorry I do not want to spoil anything for Clockwork Princess just yet.

And since I am already talking about the Lightwoods I shall say that I really like Gideon. He is so nice even at first you may think otherwise. And I felt sorry for him when he leaves his family but he does it for the greater good so he will be fine.

Gabriel continues to be a pain in the ass. But at least we finally see what happen between Will and his sister. Let me say just a thing: how can you still resentful for something that happens so many years ago? Both of them were just kids I think is time to grow up just a little bit.

As for Nate´s and Jessamine´s faith I will say it´s fair. Nate is such a jerk. He is the kind of character I do not like at all and actually, and even it might sound cruel, I was happy when I read about his death. As for Jessamine, she is so selfish and not caring about anyone but she so she deserves to be in the Silent City.

Benedict Lightwood better die soon as all the Magister partners. I just want the happily ever after to happen ASAP.

So for all that I gave this book, once again 5 out of 5 stars.

I could be talking about this book all day long. Actually I could be talking about all Cassandra Clare books all day long. But then this will be too long and I won´t be reading all that I wanted to read.
I am really looking forward to re-read Clockwork Princess and give you all my thoughts on it. But I might confess that this time I am enjoying the books much more than the very first time I read them.

Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice

Yes, I know this is not a book but i really need to talk about it. And actually is based on a comic that is kind of a book so let´s go with it.

First of all, you need to know that I am huge nerd when it comes to superheroes movies and shows. Ever since the Avenger’s movies first came out I haven´t miss a premiere (and Capitan America Civil War premieres on my birthday. Actually all Marvel movies tend to premiere around my birthday. That´s how much Marvel loves me). Regarding the TV shows I watch all of them: Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Agents of Shield… So I know very well the mythology that surrounds this world. And yes, I have realized that I mentioned DC and Marvel´s all together.

So obviously I was expecting to love Batman vs Superman and that´s not what happened. I do no hate the movie but I do hate some characters and surprisingly, Lex Luthor is not one of them. I hated Batman, every time he opened his mouth I want to punch him. Batman was such an asshole.  I mean from a 2 hours and a half, I ended liking 15 minutes of the movie. That´s such a shame! How could they manage to make a bad superheroes movie?

If Batman as I said was an asshole, Superman in this movie was not super, not at all. I get that they want to show that he has feelings and he is “human” after all. But seriously, after all what happened on Men of Steel I would say he must be much more confident. He is so insecure about everything and when he is Clark, which actually is for most of the movie, he´s only concern is about disobey his boss. Honestly if I was Perry I would fire him right away.

To talk deeply about the movie I might do some spoilers, so if you haven´t watch the movie yet and you don´t want to know anything stop reading now. If you decide to continue and get spoiled is under your own responsibility.

So in the first scene on the movie we get to see another point of view on the battle between Superman and the other Kriptonian, general Zod was his name. In this view we see how Bruce Wayne decided to go to Metropolis when he finds out what was happening and he goes to the point in which everything is happening, cause that is so reasonable. Come on, isn’t that what you would do? If you see aliens with super strength and a bunch of other powers fighting against each other you go right where they are fighting, why would you even try to go as further as you can?

And apparently that´s the reason why Bruce Wayne/Batman hates Superman. Ok, Superman might destroy a few properties and some people might have been killed but, he didn´t do it on purpose, he was just trying to save everyone! Plus if he hadn´t appear they wouldn’t be Metropolis left to be saved and probably not even Gotham to be saved.

But the movie continues with an argument that is so lame. Lois goes somewhere in Africa to interview a terrorist and it is discovered that her companion works for the CIA, and they killed him. So far all is so reasonable but when the terrorist is probably about to kill Lois Superman appears out of nowhere and saved the day. At least for his girlfriend, cause apparently the Men of Steal had to destroy an entire village to kill one terrorist.

Going on we get to see why Superman hates Batman and this, have logic, actually. If Superman is known for anything is for his high standard of justice and this Batman had none. He is a ruthless vigilantly with no moral at all. Batman knows he is not doing things right and when Alfred told him he respond something like: “Yes, I know is not right, but we are criminals you know”. Really?

Another thing I have to say is that I do not like how the relationship between Bruce and Alfred is portrait. I do not see any familiarity between them, is more of a companionship than a friendship or a family. We are talking about a man who has raised Bruce since the death of his parents. And actually I see that the one to blame for this are both of them. In one hand, Bruce is, as I´ve previously said, such a jerk; on the other hand, Jeremy Irons is no longer what he was, he delivers all his lines with the same expression. Alfred has the same face expression when he is having a coffee with Bruce than when he is assisting him in one of his missions.

I must continue by saying that the first appearance of Wonder Woman was the most interesting thing out of the first third part of the movie. Cause the little dialectic fight between Clark and Bruce was just annoying, so I won´t be elaborating. But Diana Price arrives and steals Bruce´s drive and all the audience attentions.

This is one of the moments in the movie in which Lex appears and seems to be mad. And I’ve been reading some reviews and I have to agree. This Lex is mad and he seems kind of like the Joker, but that’s not Jesse´s fault because his performance in my opinion is nothing but brilliant; the one to blame for the erratic personality of Lex are the screenwriters for deliver a character that has more of a crazy man that any other thing.

And since I am talking about Lex I will say that he provides Bruce the easiest way to steal the kryptonite and he refuses it. This only makes my point and proves how idiot Batman is in this movie. And shortly after that, I do not recall very accurately because at this point I was considering to left the cinema, he recovers the pen drive that Wonder Woman stole from him and, of course, he is perfectly able to recover all the data in the drive, which apparently was encrypted. And all of the sudden Batman discover about the Metahumans.

He send a mail to Diana Price (by the way, if she was trying to keep a low profile she is doing a terrible job) and she sees all the files about metahumans, and this could´ve been one of the best parts of the movie, until I see Flash. I do not like this Flash. I am a huge fan of the TV show and I love how Grant Gustin portraits The Flash. He is so amazing: having all this funny lines and been a nerd and speedster I think Grant Gustin is the best for the job. I do not even like the Flash of Earth 2 (those who follows the show would know what I am talking about). And I have to say I do like Ezra Miller as an actor, I loved him in The perks of being a wallflower, but he is not Flash; at least not to me.

And all of the sudden Lex kidnaped Clark´s mom and Louis and in some point makes the Capitol of USA explode. Which was kind of absurd. The terrorist was in a wheelchair ok, but if the detectors of the entrance would not noticed this, Superman would have. Instead Superman did not even suspect of it, but the USA senator was suspicious of it and realizes a few moments before. This is absurd! Superman has super-hearing therefore he would have notice how nervous she becomes only if he haven´t notice the bomb first.

But going on with the kidnaping thing, Lex is some kind of evil genius that manages too kidnaped both Superman´s mother and girlfriend. While in the meantime Batman is creating a whole arsenal out of the littlest of the pieces of kryptonite.

And since I am talking about the kryptonite I must say that here is the biggest of the absurd. While in Marvel they are consistent with the TV shows and the movies, for example in the TV shows events of the Avengers movies are mentioned and take into account and follow the story line, same for the movies with the events of the TV show. In DC they completely forget about all things related to the show, ok so for the sake of this storyline they´ve decided to forget about Flash and Legends of Tomorrow I can understand (kind of) that the forget all of them. But certainly they cannot forget about Supergirl! In the TV show the events of Man of Steel are a fact, in Supergirl show Kryptonite is a well-known weapon against Kriptonians and aliens are all over the place. Here aliens are not known, kryptonite appears in the weirdest possible way… I must stop talking about this cause it makes me so angry.

The battle between Batman and Superman was awful, I was expecting something spectacular but it was full of crap. Suddenly Superman had all the advantages but then… The advantages were at Batman side (who by the way with that weird suit looks like a Lego character). However, not caring about the fact that the fight was such a big disappointed, Lois arrived and saves him. And all of the sudden Batman and Superman are friends and Batman saves Superman´s Earth mother, because she is name like his own mother.

Lois, in such an intelligent move, decides to thrown the last of the kryptonite weapons into some kind of lake. And I have to say at this point I was so excited, cause I was thinking that Aquaman was about to appear and helped them but no. However Superman goes to the Kriptonian ship and find out that Lex has created a Monster, which apparently was forbidden by the Kriptonian laws. Superman faces the monster, which was created with General Zod remains, by the way. And it was so weird and creepy. What´s that an Aliombie (Alien+ Zombie)? Or maybe a Zomlien (Zombie+ Alien)?

And to finish the movie Wonder Woman arrives and saved the day. Oh and they killed Superman. And they a massive funeral with an empty casket.  All so… I don´t even know how to called it. And the ring… and all of the sudden Bruce is sad by Superman death. ARRGGG!! And the open ending. Don´t even get me started on the ending…

For me, is pretty clear that DC was trying to create a franchise such as Marvel has done. But where Marvel has done the right thing by separating TV from movie DC “has failed this city”. As I was saying earlier, Flash is Flash and not Ezra Miller, and actually I think they´ve got everything wrong. They could have created such an amazing movie having two of the most loved superheroes of all times. But they went to dark, with a really bad scrip that won´t allowed the actors deliver anything right, cause the scrip and I am really sorry to say this (mostly because the screenwriter is the same from The Dark Night and that film was AMAZING) was pure shit.

I was so excited for this movie and it´s been a huge down. A superheroes movie needs to have action. Also the fact that tis had nothing to do with the style of Superman previous movie, again DC had lost against Marvel, where Marvel has manage to maintain the essence of all the individual movies in the collective ones, DC has created something awful. I really wanted to love this movie, but it´s impossible.

Honestly, right now I don´t even know if I want to see the Suicide Squad movie anymore. It´s pretty obvious to me that DC environment isn´t the theaters but TV and Marvel is winning the game.

Have you watched the movie already? What are your thought on it? Did you even liked? Leave a comment down below.

See you all soon.

The Taylor Swift Book Tag

Hello Everyone,

I do not know if I´ve ever said this but I love BookTube therefore I bring today an old tag that I’ve been seeing in all the channels I follow: The Taylor Swift Book Tag. This tag was created by TheBookLife so click on her name and see her video.

The idea of this Tag is to relate books to a Taylor Swift song. I love Taylor Swift and I do LOVE books more than anything in the world so let´s get started.

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

For this I have to pick a book or book series I thought I was in love with but then I decided I wanna break up with.

For this one I have two book series. The first one is The Chronicles of Narnia; I really thought I was going to love this series cause the movies are awesome but I really don´t like the books I was not able to enjoy the reading at all. In fact I like better the books that were not turn into a movie that the ones that were turn into movie. I want to break up this series so bad.

The other one I want to break up with is the Dave Gurney series by John Verdon. I absolutely loved the first two books in the series, but then… I was so disappointed by the other three. I really hope he doesn´t write another book to the series.

For Red I have to pick up a song with red cover. It was so hard! There are so many books with a red cover and all of them are so wonderful that only pick one was almost like a lack of respect for the resto of them. But finally I choose The Red Rising by Pierce Brown. And the reason to choose this one is quite simple, it as red on its cover bit among its pages you will found a huge amount of blood as well. This book is the best dystopian sy-fy I´ve ever read. I mean this book is between my favorites I do not like neither sy-fy neither dystopian books so that’s a lot to say.

The Best Day

This is one of my favorite Taylor Swift songs is so beautiful. However and going back to the main topic: books. For this one I have to choose a book that makes me feel nostalgic. This one is so obvious: All the Harry Potter books. Thanks to these books I started to love reading and I grew up with Harry Ron and Hermione.  And I know that every time I go back and re-read it my day just goes up.

Love Story

For Love Story I have to pick a book with forbidden love. I think I haven´t read that many books with forbidden love, but then I looked at my shelves and see all Stephanie Meyer books. So I have to say Twilight and The Host.

I Knew You Were Trouble

Pick a Book with a bad character you couldn´t help but love. Ok this might to come as a surprise to many but, actually I can´t help but love Voldemort. And let me elaborate it. He had been through so much as a child that is pretty obvious that he end up traumatize therefore he decides to avoid all suffering he decides to become the Dark Lord. Plus Harry wouldn´t be such a hero without He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

Pick a book that someone ruined the ending for. This one is pretty simple and actually I have to confess that I asked for the ruining because I wasn’t liking the book so I asked for the spoiler in Allegiant by Veronica Roth. I think there is not much left to say because by now we all know how this ends and in case you don´t I won´t spoiled for you.

Everything Has Changed

For this song I have to pick a character that goes through extensive character development. This one was a really hard one, there is a lot of character that grows in the course of their books so picking one was so hard. At the end I decided I would go with Han Alister from the Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima. He becomes a hero that is able to worry about the others, not that before he didn´t care but now he does right by the greater good not right by himself.

You Belong With Me

For this amazing and funny song I have to pick my most anticipated released. I don´t know if it’s have to be some that I am waiting for right now or an upcoming so I will give you both.

For the one that has already come out I have to say Morning Star by Pierce Brown. I wasn´t able to wait for the book to came out. Fun fact, I´ve the book on my eBook but I haven´t read it just yet cause I am scared of what might happened. Also in this category I would say Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare and this one I have too on my eBook but I haven´t pick it up yet because I am re-reading all of her previous book set in the Shadoworld, it´s been a long time and I want to be able to get all that happen in the book.

For the upcoming there is a few and I can choose just one so I´ll give you the tree of them. First of all The Cursed Child by J. K. Rowling; I love Harry Potter and J. K. Rowling she is such a good writer. And yes I do know that the cursed child is just a play-book but I want to read it ASAP.

Another upcoming book I want to read ASAP is A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir. I loved the first book, An Ember in the Ashes so much that I can help but wonder was going to happen next.

And finally I want; well actually I NEED to read the final book in the Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss. The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man´s Fear are AMAZING probably the best two books I´ve read in my entire life. I re-read them every year and I love it and trap in the story. I´ve been waiting for this book a long time and I don’t mind to keep waiting because I know that Rothfuss is going to bring and amazing closure to the story. If only he could be a little bit faster…

Forever and Always

Pick your favorite book couple. And again I can just pick one, there is so many, first of all there is Dena and Kvothe from the Kingkiller Chronicle I know these two are not together but a girl can dream, right?

Also I loved Celaena and Chaol from the Throne of Glass series. They are just so perfect together. I know that I am only in the second book and a lot can happen but please, Sarah J.Mass let these two have their happily ever after.

Come Back Be Here

Pick the book you would lest like to lend out for fear of missing it to much. And this one is so simple and I have no doubts at all: The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man´s Fear. Both are my favorite books i am sorry for those who asked for the book to me, I know I am the one telling that you must read the books, but I won´t let them to you. Go and bought them, you certainly won´t regret it.

Teardrops on my Guitar

For this one I have to pick a book that makes me cry and this is so clear to me. I am just going to name the book or else I will star crying: Before I Die by Jenny Downham.

Shake it off

For Shake it Off I have to pick a book or book series I love but other people hate. The Vampire Diares by L.J.Smith. I don´t know why but every time I say I love this series everyone around me stared at me like I am crazy. I really l enjoyed the series.

Stay, Stay, Stay

This is my favorite Taylor Swift song and for this I have to pick a book that I wanted to go on forever. And this is so simple I would love that all the books I love go on forever but if I can only pick one it would be The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.

All too Well

A book series I wish keep going. Again with this one I have not doubts: The Harry Potter series and I know that at the end everything was solve but I want to go to Hogwarts once again.

What are your picks for this tag? Leve them in the comment section down below.

See you all soon.
